Some of the skin conditions the dermatology team commonly deals with are:

  • Alopecic skin diseases
  • Autoimmune skin diseases
  • Endocrine skin diseases
  • Keratinization disorders
  • Claw diseases
  • Parasite and infectious skin diseases
  • Pododermatitis, including C02 laser treatment

The dermatology department also run the ear clinics which combine video-otoscopy and advanced imaging with on site CT and MRI scans. Advanced imaging is often necessary to fully investigate cases of chronic otitis. Video-otoscopy is essential for a detailed investigation, diagnosis and treatment of ear disease.

Investigations and treatments for dermatological patients are typically performed on a same-day basis wherever possible.

Our dermatology team is available for telephone consultations for veterinary surgeons who may want to discuss a referral or need advice for cases that cannot be referred.
